Yes, I know it's been over 2 months...again

What has happened in the last 2 months?
Hmmm. Let's see.
My last post was Jan 3rd, so just by dates I can tell you Austin and I both had birthdays and Jeremy had an anniversary.
Austin got to go to a Speed the Light Rally, Silver Ring Thing, a Super Bowl party, Acquire the Fire, & participate in a box marathon fundraiser with his awesome youth group.
I was able to go to the South TX AG Women's convention in Houston and have a very nice dinner with one of my oldest and dearest friends, Valori, while I was in town.
Jeremy was able to "get back in the ring" again. He was able to referee a benefit wrestling show. He is now talking with the promoter of that show about what his next "career" move will be.
And David...Well I think it is safe to say, He is the light of our lives. Second only to our ever growing relationship with God. He is getting so big. Time is going WAY to fast. He is so adorable and he keeps us laughing all the time with the crazy stuff he does. I can't imagine life with out him or remember life before him.
Probably the biggest change for us came the week of Jan 17th. Austin came home from school one afternoon and asked me if he could come "home" (meaning come back to homeschooling). I admit I was really surprised by his request and, truth be told, kind of excited at the prospect of having both boys home again, I remained calm and asked him why. He said, "I want to get my life right with God. I want to focus on Him again. My friends are good people, but they are not Christians and when I am with them/at school I slip into habits and behaviors that are not good."
How do you argue with that? So I didn't. I went to the school that Friday and withdrew him and Austin began his 14th year of life back "at home" (I didn't actually make him "do school" on his birthday, but it was our first official day.)
We also had a great visit with Jeremy's mom and dad in February. We went to dinner on the riverwalk, took day trips with them to The Cave With No Name, Boerne, Fredericksburg and to the outlet malls in San Marcos. We had a great time.
Here are a few pics (Unfortunately we have been slacking on photo taking)

Austin's Birthday Party
He had some friends over to watch the Royal Rumble and eat lots of cheese. LOL

Here are some cute pics of David:
Opening a "just because" present from Grandma and just being David.

Here are some pics from our visit with Mom and Dad:
Establishing shot and brotherly love shot.

Mom and Dad learning all they can about the cave. My boys.

Poor David was really torn between napping and lunch.

He perked up a little when we got to the yarn store Nana wanted to go to. It turned out to be a toy store also. Such a cute shop.
David played with this train table the whole time...really regretting not getting the train table from the Picariellos before we left New England.

And here are a few pictures from Fredericksburg's "Painted Church".
